The Manoel da Nóbrega Substation belongs to the ALUPAR group and is a new project that involves the construction of a new substation with 230KV, 138KV, 88KV and 13.8KV sectors. This substation has ISA CTEEP as accessors in the 138KV sector and CPFL in the 88KV sector. The entire protection system is composed of SIEMENS Siprotec 5 IEDs.

CCESE, in partnership with SIEMENS, carried out the following activities at the substation:

• Carrying out Functional Tests on the protection system with yard equipment.

• Protection Function Characteristics Tests

• Control Tests at Levels 0, 1, 2 and 3

• Validation of Control and Protection Logics and Interlocks

• Point Ascending Tests for SCADA.

• Commissioning of the Teleprotection System.

• End-to-end Test with Line Differential Protection Functions (87L), Impedance Teleprotection with Permissive Scheme (85-21) and Neutral Residual Teleprotection with Permissive Scheme (85-67N)

• MDN-HBN C1 Transmission Line Startup and Energization

• Startup and energization of the MDN-HBN C2 Transmission Line
